Plenty of leg room underneath (my other desk made me feel confined). The assembly took 2 of us about a half a day and some of the pictures were a little hard to read. But we got it done and it was surprisingly more sturdy than what I usually end up with when assembling. I would have liked it to be even heavier, but you get what you pay for. Perfect size! We'd been searching for an L shaped desk with the option to sit/stand for a long while. This one had a couple extra options that we weren't expecting which tipped the scales it's way. The only issue we have with it is the two pieces of the desk are not attached to one another at all. So if your desk is on a smooth surface they'll slide apart easily.
