After some research on ideal table thickness, we settled on this 25mm ping pong table. It was worth the extra money for the thicker table. Plays really well. I was also really impressed with the way in which the table was packaged. MDF reinforced cardboard and bumpers for the corners. It arrived in perfect condition. It also took less than 30 minutes to put together. Just needed to attach the wheeled legs with a couple of bolts. You need two people to put it together and especially for flipping each half over after the wheels are installed. The metal surround is a nice touch too because the scoring mechanism is magnetic, so can be moved out of the way during play. This would be a 5 star if the table was actually connected in the middle. Set this 6 foot pool table up in about the time it takes to open a drink. Unfold the legs, drive in four bolts, and a locking mechanism holds them steady for the whole session. When the room needs to be a room again, the legs fold flat and the table tucks away. Leg levelers handle a floor that slopes, and a thicker rail base gives the frame support where shots land hardest.
