The good: The bookcase is beautiful and fits my space so nicely. It came fairly quickly which is always nice. The bad: Not very well made and flimsy. We were afraid to even put books on it to be honest.. When I put a few books on it, I heard a crackling noise which is never a good sign. My husband warned me that it might not last very long. I am very happy with the look and quality at this price point. I was struggling to find something to for my narrow space in this room. They do feel more expensive than the other similar items in this price range. A few things to note, I don’t love the slight seam to the backing but it’s is hardly noticeable when decorated. Another thing to note is there are stickers to cover the screws etc. not my favorite but at this price point it’s not bad, and at least you don’t look at the screws like some other affordable pieces. I got two… saw the same item on furniture stores for much more. Not sure if it’s the exact one or a knock off. But it comes fully assembled which is good. The back is just particle board. One had a nail pop out in the particle board and crack it. The other came with a big split in the wood up top. I’m really impressed with this 2-tier bookcase with drawer! Assembly was very easy, and once put together, it feels extremely sturdy and well-made. What really stood out to me is the drawer.
