This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Nice desk, my only complaint is the cords. youll have 2 cords they run from the top of the desk. So they are very noticeable. if you plan on having this desk pushed up against the wall, that would look better. I’m very happy with this desk! I’m a fairly tall lady (5’10”) and it gets more than tall enough for me to use while standing. Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy. Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. Being the first review is scary. Where to start. First - the desk is beautiful and just what I wanted for the office. Good, solid material that came packaged very well and undamaged. Worthy of 5 stars. But, second - the shipping company was awful and asked me to come in at 7am because I would be the first delivery of the day. Annoying, but whatever. They didn't show up until 4pm that day. Third - the instructions are clearly from outside this country...which isn't a big deal as long as they are clear and accurate...they were neither. Mislabelled parts in the manual, one entire instruction manual for the desk wasn't included (or was never made) and then there were several steps where I realized "I should have been told to do this 5 steps ago".
