This piece is beautiful. The oak is furniture grade with clear grain. The joinery is tight. The brass hardware is nice and the finish keeps the natural look of the wood while still gleaming. The glass does rattle, but that is an easy fix. It was packed well and had no damage despite the outside of the box being beat up. The construction of the drawers is of a very soft wood, and the drawer bottoms are an odd split panel that I’m not a fan off (will be difficult to keep clean). To build was not bad at all. Took 1.5-2 hours and I did alone. The toolsequipment lacked minimal quality while building, but for the price not too shabby. While screwing in screws the finished wood sort of chipped as you would begin to screw.
