We lovingly call this frame the "Shin Shucker". It looks great and is sturdy, but if you lack spacial awareness of your legs, expect some bruises from the corners since they stick out quite far from under the bed. I set this up by myself in about an hour and a half (I'd definitely recommend doing it with two people as recommended after that experience). The interlocking joints take effort to line up properly and lock them in, almost like the pieces needed to be sanded down a bit more to glide more seamlessly. It is quite sturdy once everything is locked in place, but note that it would be difficult to disassemble if you needed to move it. The slats velcro down on the sides. They are 2" wide and spaced 4.5" apart - so if your mattress' warranty relies on slats being 3" apart or less, you will need to add more slats or a bunky board.
