Our Pergola arrived in 3 long boxes. One of the boxes had a large taped up hole on the wide side. After doing the inventory we realized all the hardware was missing from the box with the hole I contacted Wayfair to try and get the hardware. They were fantastic! Great communication. They bent over backwards to ensure we received what we were missing. We ended up receiving an everything we needed. It was tricky at times to put it up. Once we figured thins out it went smoothly. Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it. This gazebo looks so nice! It seems sturdy and like it will stand up to the weather well. It took FOREVER to assemble, and at times it definitely needed two adults to put together. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble. Overall, it took about three separate days to put together, spending roughly 5–6 hours each day. That said, this was assembled by one person, so I think that’s important to keep in mind. With two people, I imagine the process would go much faster. Once it’s up, though, it is SO worth it. The quality is really nice, it looks beautiful, and it has completely transformed our deck. This is possibly the best purchase Ive made from wayfair. Its perfect. The only true issues we had (and by we I mean my husband his two buddies who put it together while I napped in my hammock) were that not all the bolt holes matched up so they spent some time drilling them out. HOWEVER, the three of them were able to get it fully built and put up within a day. It only took approximately 6 hours (they did stop for lunch and dinner Im not that much of a monster yall I fed them don’t worry lol).
