These stairs were so easy to put together I was amazed. Just make sure to follow the directions because we put all the stairs in when we were just supposed to put the first one on and we had to then take them all off which was a little trickery. For the price these are better than expected. They were packaged well…heavy duty boxes, well sealed. Banded and plastic shrink wrapped. Each box had 2 stacks of 22 tiles (42lb per box). I needed 100 (only complaint was I couldn’t order just a single stack so had 32 more than needed). Went together easily, looks great under my little gazebo. We’ll see how they hold up to sun the rest of summer. They do have that “made in China smell” but I’m sure that will dissipate quickly since they are outside. The instructions for setup give an estimated time of 30 minutes. I have to say, I would be extremely impressed if someone could put this thing together in 30 minutes. Possibly an army of 30 people, trained in backyard pool assembly The assembly process is fairly straightforward but it took me 4-5 hours just to set up the metal frame and assure that it was on level ground before putting water in. The ladder assembly and pump installation was another 2 hours. It was definitely worth the effort though! The water inlet piece was broken but not discovered until it was installed and found to leak as there was an adapter on it that we had no reason to remove until it leaked. Wayfairs warranty period was already expired but the manufacturer stayed in contact with us and sent out a replacement heater resolving our issue. Looking forward to many months of swimming! Nice pool but the liner that comes with it is a thinner gauge liner. We had a pretty hard time getting the liner to even fit up over the walls of the pool.
