It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. The fan is very quiet, we are able to sleep with the fan on all night. We also have high ceilings and the fan still does a very good job of circulating the air even on the lowest setting.. Stephanie. 3/4 in. downrods can be used to extend the Modern Forms downrod ceiling fan height. Downrods are available in 12 in., 18 in., 24 in., 36 in., 48 in., 60 in., and 72 in. sizes along with a variety of finish options to match your fan finish. Downrods can be joined together using a downrod coupler (DC-xx) to make lengths greater than 72 in. and may also be shortened in the field.
