It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. Wow! Very surprised and blown away (pun intended) by this fan. The installation is super easy, just takes a while, but if you know what you’re doing it’s doable, and it works great in my garage. It’s sleek and and runs very quiet and feels upscale without being flashy. The integrated LED light is bright without being harsh, which was something I was afraid of, so bonus points there.
