This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. These are really beautiful, but like others, the hole pattern did not match. Luckily, my husband was able to drill holes and get it to work.
