This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. I needed to have my hall light fixture replaced. I was concerned about the fit as the former light fixture was smaller, but lo and behold it worked.
