Light weight, soft wood, I am 5’2 110 and had no trouble putting it together myself. Best construction manual you can ever get. Manual was colored, metal hinges were pre assembled, and I appreciate the fact it provided care instructions and ways to keep it from natural wear and tear. Overall, the design and quality are great for its price point. The plastic and metal items are thicker than you would expect. FYI, mine looks darker because I used a wood stain.. Rose Trang. Featuring a pretend sink, 3 hanging hooks and a chalkboard, it enables role-play of cooking, cleaning and gardening to boost kids’ hands-on skills, imagination and creativity, delivering educational fun in playrooms, patios and gardens.

The directions for assembly of this item are incredibly poor. Step 3 which is attaching the bottom shows screw P and it should be bolt R and Nut S. I figured it out because I’ve put together other mud kitchens, toys and furniture. If ya have little experience in assembly this is not the product to buy. There are no written instructions (only photos) to describe which way to install part C. And if ya don’t figure it out ahead of time you will have to take many pieces apart to get it right in later steps. The company doesnt include a small screwdriver so make sure you have a Phillips screw driver available. The piece itself is cute and as expected from the photos. I’m sure the grandkids will have fun playing with it. I’m just truly disappointed in the directions. The company seems to have gone in the cheap side in that area.. Susan. Katy, TX. Sat Oct 10 2026

We did put a coat of Thompsons water sealer on it to be on the safe side. Not sure it was needed, but it’s fully out in the weather. I highly recommend this bench if you are in the market.. Suzanna.
