The bed is handcrafted in Pennsylvania with 100% solid knot-free yellow pine. The side rails and a series of wood slats accommodate your standard-size mattress or our 4-inch long-lasting cushion (not included) with no need for a box spring. The rope is made of polypropylene film yarn that is 100% waterproof, UV-treated, and will not get rough on the hands.

I'm giving 5 stars for Wayfair's customer service when things weren't right. the thought of sending this back made me frustrated knowing it would be a pain. So we set out to do our best. This product had issues from the beginning. Missing several holes for assembly. Luckily my hubby is handy and was able to drill the holes and we used other screws to assemply. It required lots of patience and muscle to put it together because things didn't line up exactly in several areas. Now that it is together it is very nice and strong. I contacted Wayfair Customer Service- used the chat explained my experience and they fairly compensated me whicih is what I was hoping for. Sitting on this outdoor porch swing on a pious and tranquil day. Feels like you are exposed to a natural mattress, breathing together with nature. There seems someone murmuring. What stable structure? The capacious swing is suitable for three people to sit on.

I love the swing, but found out that one of the boards under the seat was cracked almost all the way through. (Double check everything before putting it together because it looked like a darker grain in the board.) They have reached out to the manufacturer since it was most likely something that happened during their process. It seems really sturdy and it's adjustable to different heights. In love with my hanging bed! The quality of the wood is excellent and in a day and age with too much junk out there it was a great surprise! I opted for unfinished and primed sanded and painted myself. I love the finished product but it was a lot of work and the price for finished started sounding like a good deal part way through The full size bed fit a full sized mattress from original mattress factory perfectly. We waited till it was in and put together to measure and order the mattress, but no worries. It is a great size and our 6’4” friend can lay out in it diagonally with ease.
