These sconces were perfect. I have very tiny nightstands and one of the bedrooms of my Airbnb. Lamps would definitely not fit there so these were perfect to give my guest some extra lighting at night. If I had to give one complaint, it would be that the switch on the cord is way too low. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. I lean heavily into an eclectic interior design style, preferring to mix modern and vintage elements rather than buying straight from a catalog. Pairing old and new items together gives a space a highly polished, designer-curated look. The fixture arrived incredibly fast and was packaged securely to preserve its pristine condition. Functionally, this sconce solved a major structural dilemma for me. I needed a light fixture with a substantial backplate big enough to completely cover a protruding framing electrical box on my wall. I purchased multiple other sconces, but none had a large enough mounting canopy to hide the electrical work until I found this one. The electrician installed it extremely quickly with zero complications. The sizing is completely true to the online specifications, measuring exactly 12 inches, with the beautiful, soft scalloped glass center section coming in at 5 1/2 inches wide. It features a good, substantial weight that feels solid and high quality without being overly heavy. The finish is a gorgeous, soft brushed brass. I mounted it next to a raw, unlacquered brass pendant light; while the two brass styles feature slightly different undertones, they complement each other beautifully for a curated, mix-and-match look. To ground the space, I paired the sconces with a set of the Kalalou 65" Tall Black Metal Wall Shelves (also from Wayfair). The contrast of the delicate, soft vintage scalloped detail from the light fixture against the stark, dark metal of the shelves looks stunning. I also styled the sconce alongside a thrifted library armoire for a traditional touch to see which one I preferred. While I haven't yet tested the dimming function due to my current wall switch setup, the overall output and build quality are spectacular. Invest in this piece—you will not be disappointed.. Nora. Very nice fixture but modifications were necessary. The canopy is exactly 4 inches in diameter - North American standard electrical box is also 4 inches. Had to buy 5 inch canopy to use. Due to its weight, the fixture doesn’t hang perpendicular. Perhaps the joint where the canopy arm and the fixture arm meet should be welded together??? Also, installing the globes is finicky….
