Hands Free Dog Gate

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

We needed a divider in our laundry room as the dogs go in and out of their dog door and into their space. It comes with floor secures too but we have tile and I’m not sure about drilling those in at this point. Thankfully my dogs get the list and keep to their side! You will need proper wall anchor screws for drywall as one of the hooks is starting to slip out of the wall from use. The product itself is sturdy and a great buy. This was one of the only retractable gates that came in such a length!. Robyn. Sugar Hill, GA. Mon Sep 28 2026

So, we had a bit of trouble in the beginning but Wayfair made it right. The first gate was dented pretty badly, we returned it received the second one which was missing the screws needed to put the footers on. Once the screws were received we were able to put it together correctly, I am so glad we got it. Its very heavy duty. The door is easy to openclose for access and its stylish. I would definitely recommend.. Anonymous. Huntley, IL. Mon Aug 17 2026

The Denver Adapta-Gate® combines safety and convenience in one fantastic package. Hardware mounted for stability, it incorporates three hinged panels that can accommodate straight, angled, wide, and/or irregular openings and landings. Unlike many other gates that only span a doorway, it creates safe and roomy landings at the top or bottom of staircases and can also be used across wider openings. It’s easy to arrange and install based upon your needs and preferences, and using the Denver Adapta-Gate® makes this even easier! Designed by parents, for parents, our gate allows for one-handed operation, has a convenient easy close-and-lock feature, and comes with an Ezy-Check® Indicator so you know when the gate securely closed. Our gate also comes with the Smart Stay-Open Feature, which allows the gate to ‘stay open’ whenever it’s not needed. Cleverly designed, the Dreambaby® Denver Adapta Gate® swings open in both directions, but you can limit it to open in only one direction. This feature is especially important when used at the top of stairs. Hinged panels can accommodate openings of 33.5" - 79" across. Gate measures 29" high.
