Hand-painted Talavera tile with a floral pattern in cobalt blue, light blue, and green on an off-white background, framed by a scalloped blue border. Ideal as a kitchen backsplash accent, bathroom detail, or framed decorative wall piece. Because each tile is made by hand, slight variations in color and finish are normal and part of its character. If your project includes decorative colorful Mexican tile, you might want to consider this one as a good candidate. Suitable for whole area installations or just as an accent over a field tile. All of our Mexican tiles have an off-white background. DISCLAIMER: All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay. Because this item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. Dimensions typically range from 6" to 6.25".
