Beautiful rug, the pictures online are different that in person, it goes really well with brown leather. This 8x10 rug first picture is right after unrolling it rolls out nicely. I used my Dyson vacuum twice over it and hardly sheds. I was pleasantly surprised how soft the texture is for the weave. I do have a thick rug pad under it is as it is needed. The second picture is taken with 3500k can lights on and the third picture has no lights on with only NE facing window light. Close up pictures are for comparison of color and design detail. Gorgeous rug, definitely great quality. Heavy and doesn’t shift around because of it. Color appears a little brighter and leans more green in sunlight compared to the photos. Very interesting because in photos, the rug appears more mutedneutral, but when I look at it in my space, it feels brighter and greener. May just be my lighting as it’s in a sunlit area. In my opinion, a rug is very much like a piece of art. Therefore, it’s very subjective. This particular rug, I could not be happier with. It is exactly what I was looking for even though it took me weeks of coming through what seems like maybe every rug that Wayfair has. The density of this rug exudes it’s quality. It is a very heavy piece. I would say that the colors are very true to what is presented on the website, if not anything more vibrant in person! I’m pleased and disappointed at the same time. My new rug arrived today and upon rolling it out, I was momentarily enchanted with it until I immediately spotted several “holes” in the weave. I know I got this rug for a decent price (though still it was expensive), but I was not expecting any flaws such as this. Hand knotted rugs can obviously have an imperfection here and there due to it being made by human hands, but wasn’t quite expecting it to look damaged. I contacted Wayfair about it and sent pictures - told them I’m willing to keep it with the request of an additional discount due to the flaws, and they gave me an additional 20% off. I am in love with the rug but it makes me sad every time I look down and see so many gaps in the weave.
