It's hand-knotted from wool and cotton backing with a low 0.25" pile for a just-right balance of sturdiness and softness. It has a traditional Oushak-style pattern (in the size of your choice) for some old-world charm that's sure to fit right in with your coastal farmhouse. Looks aside, this wool-blend rug has fringed edges that are kind on your floors and help hold it in place, but we still recommend putting a rug pad underneath. When it comes to upkeep, it's easy to spot clean (because we know spills happen).
