Hand Carved Mahogany Armoire

This lavishly hand-carved armoire is made up of solid mango wood. The armoire has two front doors and a drawer. The front doors have voluminous hand carving and striking motifs. The doors have seen through carving as a big bunch of flowers and intricate hand carving on the flowers to show the petals on them. This begets three big flowers on each door and adds up the charm of modern rustic in it. The doors are easy to open with the iron rings attached to them. The armoire is divided by three shelves from the inside which provides lots of storage space for your items. It can be used to fashion beautiful décor items or delicate crockery or any of your belongings.

The hand carving is very detailed and delicate which craves continuous hand movements by the artisans to bring out this fashioned style on the doors. The carving on the doors in the front is see-through which then can be used to showcase your items. The carving can be seen in the drawer below. Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. I love these!! I purchased 2 for my guest room. They were easy to put together, take your time and think it through and it is a snap. Assembly was easier than expected. The door hinges were already attached, and the cabinet pieces were minimal. The only part that gave me a little grief was the cabinet's back panels. The panels slide into grooves but needed a little help from a rubber mallet to gently tap them into place. All in all, it took me about 45 minutes to assemble, and I wasn't in a hurry. I love the size of the armoire I purchased it for mostly sweaters and purses so I can open the doors and see everything that I own which is very nice I would say the only thing is that on the cutout on the front of the door it's not very smooth the wood is very rough like it wasn't finished like you're used to it being finished and the painting of it is a little rustic but all in all I like the way it looks so I'm happy with the product.
