This beautiful handwoven thick shag rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool, using mill-spun yarns. Made in India, the yarn is locally dyed in the traditional vat dying method. Before the first wash, the back of each rug is mildly burnt with hand-held flame-emitting stoves. The rugs are given two rounds of rigorous washing, to provide the softest comfort underfoot. The finishing process includes hand shearing, with a unique and exaggerated one-sided tassel fringe. Each tassel is twisted and rolled by hand into bunches with a knot tied at each end, for a unique hand-crafted appeal.

Looks great, the smell is a bit strong and will take A while to air out.. Jaclyn. Vancouver, BC. Tue Apr 12 2022

Rug seems nicely made, it is a bit thin but I will have to get a mat for underneath. The shedding is a lot. I have not vacuumed yet or been using since I am waiting for a room remodel and I jumped the gun on ordering this truthfully haha. Happy to have a natural fiber rug!. Leanna. Auburn Hills, MI. This manufacturer’s trained artisans then brush the jute yarn to an even more lustrous sheen before it is hand-knotted into organic floor coverings of unrivaled beauty.

This indoor area rug warms up your hardwood and tile floors while setting the stage for the rest of your furniture. It brings a breezy look to your home, thanks to its textured weave and deep brown tones that go with styles ranging from traditional to coastal. Handmade in India with jute and using a flatweave technique, this rug has a pile height of 0.5". This medium pile makes it a great foundation for your entryway, living room, or bedroom. We recommend pairing it with a rug pad to keep everything from shifting underfoot.

LOVE this rug! I ordered it in “BROWN” (aka “NaturalGray”) and it’s perfect! My floors are brown with grey tones. The quality is impressive! The thickness, the durability, the size, the detail in the weave… I ordered a thin 13” rug pad to go underneath, but only to protect my floors. The rug is thick enough and soft enough to not need a pad under it. I haven’t walked on it barefoot, but with socks, it feels nice (not scratchy and pokey). I have no constructive criticism. Buy the rug. Just do it. You’ll be happy.. Jess. Fri Sep 18 2026

Absolutely love this carpet!! The texture, the weight the pattern absolutely stunning. Andres. Thu Oct 01 2026

This runner is exactly as advertised. It is well made and the edging is tightly woven. It flattened out immediately after arriving rolled. I haven't used it yet, but I am certain it will serve its intended purpose.. Alice. Parkland, FL. Wed Apr 22 2026

This is a high quality rug with thick, tufted wool. It does shed at the beginning when you vacuum it, so be prepared. I ordered the beigegrey and its a little darker than I anticipated but still beautiful. Im using a medium thickness felt rug pad and it makes the rug feel luxurious the kind of rug you feel comfortable sitting or stretching out on. The tufted wool and the subtle pattern make it easy to clean if anything spills on it, so even though I ordered a lighter color, it looks great in a petkid household. Ive blotted stains with water to get the most out, they sprayed with a natural, enzymatic cleaner and it looks good as new. Highly recommended.. Amy. Santa Fe, NM. Sun Sep 06 2026

This collection is made with soft, durable polyester into a flatweave rug. Made in India, the understated space-dyed design and substantial flat-woven pile make for an effortless layering piece. Fit for any space indoors or covered outdoors, this collection is easy to care for, pet-friendly, and fade-resistant. Inspired by the tranquil earth and water tones of Italy, the collection evokes comfort and serenity.

Highly recommend this rug! This is another fantastic Wayfair Perigold purchase that confirms why I always recommend them to friends and coworkers. A helpful sales associate guided my design choice, recommending this 8 x 10 rug to layer over the wall-to-wall carpeting in a bedroom. While the price was incredibly budget-friendly, the quality completely exceeded my expectations. It looks even more beautiful in person than it does online. The color palette is incredibly rich, featuring a gorgeous blend of tobacco, charcoal, and dark taupe tones. It feels thick, durable, and built to last, providing a soft feel underfoot without being slippery at all.. Toni. Friendswood, TX. Sun Jul 19 2026

This rug is stunning! It has beautiful shades of brown, peac, and ivory! The beauty of the rug enhances the entryway of my house.. Stacy. Tuscaloosa. Fri Oct 09 2026

The most beautiful color you’ve ever seen. Doesn’t shed. Very luxurious and thick. So happy with this.. Jessica. Woodhaven, NY. Tue Sep 22 2026

This understated area rug creates a cozy vibe in your den. It's crafted in India from jute and sisal for a textured touch and showcases a neutral and warm brown hue that works well with various color palettes. The 0.5" pile height makes it a good choice for high-traffic areas in your home - think those with a lot of kid and pet activity - and it's easy to vacuum (with no beater bar). Wherever you place this piece, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad to keep it from slipping and add extra cushioning.

Nice hand woven rugs. Bought 2 for kitchen. They do have slight lifts on edges which help hold in place….however, remember to pick your feet up. Not for clumsy people.. Heather. Rockfield, KY. Sun Aug 16 2026

Love……beautiful rug! Great quality. More rustic, handwoven, tight weave type rug vs soft wool. Colors are muted and tend toward the warm spectrum vs cool. Very happy with and what we were hoping. Rug is just 9’ 1” width not 9’ 3”” as listed. Other than that, perfect!. Anonymous. Cloverdale, CA. Fri Aug 21 2026

Its all-over brown color features subtle striations of light and dark hues with a textured feel and simple fringe edges.
