Hand Woven Kitchen Rug

Living up to its nickname as “Golden Fiber,” jute is a staple in organic home decor. Hand-braided in India from natural jute and cotton fibers, their rugs feature a variety of patterns and neutral colors that makes them the perfect base for any room’s design. As soft as they are durable, these rugs are the perfect organic accent to any room’s design.

This rug has kept up extremely well in my house. I purchased this rug a couple of hears ago to effectively cover 95% of my floor. We've since moved and the rug looks even better in our new place. There are a couple of places where the end of braid has popped through, but for me, I didn't really find it to be unappealing. It looks like natural wear and feel of the carpet.. Jessica. This indoor and outdoor area rug brings a classic, refreshing aesthetic to your home. It features a detailed pattern that anchors your favorite furniture arrangements, making it a seamless addition to your layout. Crafted from polypropylene, it's designed to withstand daily foot traffic while maintaining its look over time. The low-profile flatweave design fits easily beneath doors, so you don't have to worry about catching or snagging. Plus, the stain-resistant design makes dealing with unexpected spills completely stress-free. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

We love the charming braided design and color of this rug. It's supposed to be a natural color, but it has a faint, barely-there coral tone that makes it perfect for our living room. It has a comfortable texture and is easy to vacuum and clean. We have cats and a dog, so it was important for us to keep it clean in case of a cat hairball accident. We got the 9x12 size and first laid it on the driveway under the sun to release any lines and bubbles. You might need to stretch and “play” so the braiding lines up properly.. Rosi. Miramar, FL. Another beautiful rug from Wayfair! We originally picked this out for our dinning room and then realized it wasn’t the right material. I loved it so much. I found a new home for it in my office.. Kristin. Minnetonka, MN. Fri Sep 18 2026

Introduce a touch of Bohemian elegance to your space with this exquisite hand-woven area rug. Crafted in India from a blend of cotton, denim, and natural jute, it showcases the skill and artistry of traditional weaving techniques while bringing a serene, earthy quality to your décor. Horizontal bands of braided natural fibers and woven fabric run edge to edge, with natural tan jute alternating among shades of denim, chambray, and indigo. The variegated striped pattern appears as a textured slate blue from a distance, while the thick-and-thin rhythm of the weave adds organic dimension without a formal border. The firm, nubby surface provides a grounded texture underfoot and softens slightly with regular use. Its durable, double-sided construction is well suited for high-traffic living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms, and sunrooms, while the flat-woven profile allows chairs to slide easily and furniture to sit securely. Made in small batches, each rug may feature subtle variations in color and weave that highlight its handcrafted character. Pair with a rug pad to help prevent shifting on smooth floors, add cushioning, and protect the hand-woven underside from wear.

Really attractive rug with distinct woven colors. It is the thickness of the jute rope and lies perfectly over my wall to wall carpet. It adds just the right touch to complete the bedroom… the bedroom is furnished and accessorized with all Wayfair products! And it is adorable!. Sue. Fairhope, AL. Mon Jul 27 2026

I love this rug. I had one from 7 years ago that I used in my entry way and it held up that long. I have 4 kids and it was in a very high traffic area. This one looks beautiful. I’ve only had it for a few days but hoping the durability is the same as the last rug.. Kaitlyn. Tue Aug 18 2026

This rug was a great purchase as a runner for a high traffic hallway in our home-- the rug is soft underfoot while also durable. It looks expensive-- I would definitely buy additional rugs from this brand in the future. Definitely get a mat for underneath as it does slip and slide.. Katherine. Stamford, CT. Sun May 24 2026

I am very pleased with this rug. It shows quality craftsmanship and has a beautiful design. I have had the rug for a few weeks, and it is holding up great – – especially at a home entranceexit. Absolutely love this rug! It’s good quality and nice and thick. However, it is not the most comfortable to walk on with bare feet. Love it in my space.. Kevin. Putnam, CT. Sat Sep 26 2026

Great quality! It is soft on the feet and looks expensive. I am waiting for my dining table that is on back order, so I made a sitting area in the meantime.. Stefanie. Henderson, NV. Sun May 03 2026

Love it! It definitely leans more to the brown tones (wish there was a bit more green) but otherwise, super happy with this rug for my entryway. I also got a rug pad for underneath, which is good because it is slippery. I just got it so can’t speak to how it vacuums or cleans. But it looks good!. Susan. Sparta, TN. Tue Sep 29 2026

I love the look of this rug. It needs a rug mat underneath. It is a bit more yellow than the images appear to be and other reviews referenced this as well, so consider that before purchasing!. Loreal. Avon, IN. Sun Aug 23 2026

I like this rug, have not tried washing it yet. I like that it is secure - not slippery, but the rubber backing holds it in place. My only complaint is how flat it is. Super thin! So far it is working by our doors, and I like the colors.. Lynn. Grand Rapids, MI. Tue Sep 15 2026

Striking a hue that’s sure to inspire wherever it sits, this area rug is ideal for any home in search of an eye-catching refresh.
