This will take 2-3 people to assemble (3 people for the roof to make it easier). If you are putting this together yourself you and helper or two should be able to get it done in about 6 hours or so. Once correctly assembled it is very sturdy and is exactly what we were looking for a more permanent structure. This replaces an all cloth (with metal frame) gazebo that we had and it looks like it is going to last quite nicely. The mosquito netting on the top is a bit of a joke. It isn't big enough to fit all around the interior roof. By the time you get half of the net up, the other half starts coming off the Velcro. Maybe it will stretch out over time? PRO's: - Very Sturdy once all assembled and mounted down. - Shipped with a lot of foam padding and hard wood ends to protect the roofing from damage. - Minor bends from shipping that could be bent back with pilers. - Cloth curtains and inner bug netting does fit all around (if installed correctly) to fully enclose the gazebo. - Cloth curtains also appear to be made of good quality fabric. - Says it will hold up to 3,000 lbs of snow, and wind gusts up to 55 mph. Where I live it will test this! CON's: - 1 of the 3 boxes is EXTREMELY HEAVY. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. Don’t freak out if the box it comes in has the wrong dimensions printed on it. The one I got said 10x10, but I ordered 10x12. I had to Google it, and I read that as long as the stickers with the QR code says 10x12, it’s probably going to be the right size. They just use the same box for multiple sizes. The color was true to the photos, on the site. The fabric is a good weight, and quality. The only thing that would make it better, is if there was more velcro on the tie backs, so it would be more adjustable. I had to leave it loose. Also, some thin ties at the bottom would have been nice, to help keep it from lifting as much, when it’s really windy, and raining. It rained after installation, and the water did bead up on the fabric, so it is water resistant, like they say in the description. Over all, it is a quality product! Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. I love my purple leaf gazebo. Sitting on my vinyl deck and secured with flower pots and clement mix to give it some weight. The only issue is that, on one side, the curtains and nets do not meet each other and therefore not able to zip up as seen in the photos. Thank God that side is against the wall. Kkncj2013. I ordered this and added the professional installation option. The gazebo itself arrived on time, and throughout the process Wayfair's customer service was responsive and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the installation experience was a nightmare. The contractors repeatedly cancelled appointments at the last minute, forcing us to reschedule multiple times. One morning appointment was even cancelled at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the installation. After several delays, someone finally arrived only to tell us that a required part was missing. We were then informed that the replacement part would take several weeks to arrive. At that point, we ended up canceling the order and begin the refund process. I appreciate Wayfair's customer service and how quickly they responded whenever we reached out. However, the installation contractor they use was awful.
