I’m very happy with this credenza. I purchased it for my home office and it really helped pull the entire space together. The black finish looks clean and substantial, and the bronze accents add just enough warmth and detail to give it a more upscale look. This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. I am so impressed by this piece. I will not lie and tell you that I was excited when I saw how many pieces there were to put together. I almost paid for the installation after it sat in the box for a few days. However, if you pull everything out and lay the pieces out and in their sections it wasn’t bad at all. I broke the install down into a 2 day event so all in all it took me about 3 hours alone. The last door was a little tricky since you must adjust it a few times for it to close perfectly and be aligned correctly. Worth every tweak. I bought it for my office since they did not provide storage for items in our new location. I have had nothing but compliments on how my office looks like a serene spa. The doors are smooth close as well which is an additional bonus. Wayfair never adds the colors automatically when you are writing a review. Our experience was excellent. Cabinet was packaged very well for shipment. We were a bit hesitant to purchase based on reading the very few negative reviews on this product (one or two reviews discussing damage during shipment and one or two reviews showing what they considered inferior wood finishing and quality). Here's the deal.....the cabinet is shipped with very clear instructions showing which end should be "up" during shipment. It's shipped with the cabinet upside down to protect the legs from damage. If the shipping company doesn't pay attention to the shipping instructions and is rough with the box, I could see where potential damage to the legs could happen. The shipping company that delivered ours must have paid attention to the instructions as ours arrived in perfect condition. Regarding the comments about the wood being rough and unfinished, I'd classify this product as having a slightly distressed look with a bit of white washed look to the wood. I'm certain that was the intent of the manufacturer and that was the look we wanted. Regarding comments about the drawer quality, I get it. These are not dovetail drawers and are what I'd classify as pretty cheaply made. But, we didn't purchase this to hold 20lbs of weight in a drawer. I think they'll be just fine if not abused. And yes, the actual cabinet (sides, bottom and internal framework is made of metal and powder coated to the color you see in the pics. You would never know that just by looking at it. This accent cabinet was packaged well and not damaged. One of the drawer handles wasn’t attached, but we found all the screws and put it on, no problem. Some mentioned that it was too distressed, but I like it the way it is. It’s perfectly vintage and goes with my she-shed theme. It feels sturdy enough - not flimsy. I noticed when adding supplies that the drawers don’t have anything to keep them from coming all the way out out when opening. So I’ll just have to be careful with that.
