Summit manufactures a wide selection of ADA height refrigerator-freezers for hospitality settings, including timer-based automatic defrost options.  Model FF43BADA is a freestanding refrigerator sized at just 19" wide and 32.25" high for use in ADA compliant settings. The compact size is ideal for hotels, dormitories, offices, and other spaces. It comes with a textured black cabinet and user-reversible door for versatile placement.  This unit includes a large refrigerator section and interior ice compartment. To use this as a low maintenance auto defrost refrigerator-freezer, plug the refrigerator into the included timer accessory and plug the timer into your wall socket. The timer allows you to program an "off" period that will power off the unit and restore power after the set time is over. This helps to prevent ice buildup in the freezer compartment. We recommend setting the timer to run from 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the night. Alternatively, the refrigerator can be used without the timer and will function as a standard manual defrost refrigerator-freezer. The FF43BADA refrigerator section includes adjustable glass shelves for spill-proof storage and three door racks ideal for storing condiments and cans. The lower crisper drawer is best suited for non-perishable items. The upper freezer compartment is designed to store ice packs and ice cubes. This unit offers a generous 3 cu.ft. of storage capacity. The dial thermostat offers easy temperature management. With its slim-fitting footprint and low-maintenance design, the FF43BADA is the ideal solution for student housing, hotel rooms, offices, and other settings with limited space.

Summit's GRILL27B allows you to create a built-in look to fill space gaps when installing the FFBF279SSX (Refrigerator not included) into a traditional 72" high opening. Manufactured in the USA, the GRILL27B is constructed from powder coated steel and finished in jet black to suit any space. It can be used with our FFBF279SSX series, or virtually any other refrigerator sized at 27.63" wide.
