The classic machine-made Viognier and Chardonnay glass of the established glass collection Vinum should be part of the basic equipment of every sophisticated wine lover. The classic RIEDEL shape allows young wines to express all their invigorating freshness, while more mature wines are encouraged to deliver the nutty, spicy, mineral flavors. This glass is designed so that the low acidity is delivered in a way that sets off the alcohol and rich flavors of the wine, highlighting its velvety, supple texture, emphasizing the fruit, and ensuring a long, balanced finish. Vinum glasses have proved to consumers and restaurateurs that the pleasure of consuming wine starts with the glass.

The glass is perfect for all styles of this variety, from the grassy, fruit-forward wines of the Marlborough to the oak-aged, honeyed blends from Bordeaux. To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the very first sauvignon blanc glass, RIEDEL released a new glass shape for this aromatic white wine. RIEDEL collaborated with various regions including Marlborough, New Zealand, to design the new product to suit the variety’s evolving New World style. This glass is also recommended for dessert wines.

The chardonnay glass is perfect to reveal the intensity of full-bodied white wines, including the wine's multi-layered aromas. This glass has a diamond shape that works beautifully for big and bold New World wines as the extreme angles offer more space to develop aromas. Larger than a typical white wine glass, it develops a wonderfully diverse range of aromas. The wide open-mouthed bowl emphasizes finesse while minimizing the risk of richer-style white wines becoming over-concentrated. The Extreme glasses are named after their extreme contours. The bowls mimic polished diamonds and their wide angles allow plenty of room for the wine to breathe. They are specifically designed to enhance and emphasize the pleasant softness and generally fruity notes of the New World wines. Machine-made and dishwasher-safe. This pack contains 2 pieces.
