I really love the overall look of these stools. The legs are slim and delicate, so they have a much lighter visual footprint than most similar bar stools, and the upholstered seats are comfortable. Unfortunately, I did have some quality/alignment issues. After assembling two stools, the footrests weren’t completely straight, the seats sat slightly crooked, and one stool had a noticeable wobble. Assembly itself was very simple (another bonus), so these seemed to be manufacturing/alignment issues rather than assembly problems. The chairs themselves are really nice. They have a unique, chic look. The green is more olive in real life, and it looks beautiful. The fabric is soft but seems durable, and the seat and backrest are comfy and plush. However, the assembly was wildly frustrating, to the point where I have to take off a star. The metal bracingfoot rests don’t line up well with the holes on the chair legs, and it took me 90 minutes to force the screws in. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool. Very happy with these- I was replacing some adjustable height stools (one had quit being adjustable) and wanted swivel but without adjustable feature. I liked the look of these and seat height was exactly where the adjustable ones usually “lived”. They feel very sturdy and the seat is ample width and thick firm padding. They are lower profile too so don’t block sight line of counter (upper back sits right at counter level). I think it will be a good height for grandkids too.
