This table in cherry walnut does not look like the photos, it is much more orange than cherry. It also does NOT come with any game pieces. I am using my pieces from another chess set. They are functional support struts - but they help to create an attractively vintage effect. Built-in chunky pine timber - the timbers are created from choice cuts of pine timber, carefully seasoned and aged before being cut to shape. With each timber being unique, you will see the wood grain and other features like knots - and no two tables are the same. The metal struts and corner caps, with their chunky bolts, are represented in a tough finish.
