We were skeptical to buy due to no previous reviews, but I am so glad we purchased! Assembly is a little tough due to the angle of the legs, but after that putting the top on is simple. (I assembled it alone, would definitely be easier with a partner!) The wheels are already attached to the base and the table rolls very easily. It is heavy and sturdy and seems to be a quality piece that will last us years to come! Very pleased with our purchase. For clarification, the base is a square 34" x 34" with the top being 42" x 42" at the widest middle point, and the length between each octagon corner being 30". The diagonal of the table is 51". Another reviewer has mentioned this and I will echo this point: the instructions do not make it clear how the side panels should be oriented before they are installed. It is indeed possible to install them upside down. When you do, you will be unable to attach legs. Before you attach the side panels, Look ahead to the last step to see how the legs should be attached. There will be a hole on each of the side panels that need to be facing towards the bottom of the table in order for these legs to be attached. Overall I like the look and size of this coffee table, it fits our space well. It was fairly tedious to put together, but not super difficult. This is a beautiful coffee table that appears to be real wood - it's heavy but doesn't weigh a ton like manufactured wood. I think the finish is darker brown and not as red as the photo which is fine for me. The deep drawers are wonderful and can be opened from either side - no more baskets sitting around with my lip balm, remote, tissues, scissors, etc. Also the drawer bases have thick plastic strips for smooth opening and closing..
