One side piece for the upper bookcase area had a machined hole that was incorrectly placed, about an inch off (holes used to screw shelves to the metal sides. This two-tier cube bookshelf and storage drawer combo is very handy to have in a bedroom to store a variety of items. Our daughter is using it for books in the cube sections and other miscellaneous items tucked in the drawers. Assembly was straightforward but took about two hours with one person. (You will need your own tools like a screwdriver for assembly as well.) The primary issue is the exposed hardware that can be seen when up close to the bookcase.
