I was on the fence about this protector before receiving. I have always used a mattress pad, but with my new mattress I was sleeping consistently hotter than usual. Well I called where I purchased my mattress and they explained most pads are made with fiber fill and that retains heat not allowing the mattress to breath. So I researched my mattress brand and got same answers. I found the Tempur Breeze protector to be the most mentioned. Yes the price did scare me I had just spent quite a bit on the mattress and now another 300. Well I did it and do not regret one minute. I sleep cooler and more comfortable. And yes it is water proof I tested it to see. Wayfair had the best price overall plus I had a little reward from where I had purchased something else a while back so that made the sting a little easier and if you need the 6 months to pay then that’s no brainer.. Super nice perfect fit I’ve gotten one of these before and it’s used on a different bed. So I knew this would be a good choice and it’s got great quality very easy to wash and if you spilled something on your bed, it won’t spill through to your mattress. It’s very sturdy and doable and I like the quality of the material and the look of it as well. My nightlight has a yellow tint so it looks a little different in the color than it is actually it is white and then the bamboo and words are in a green pretty color which you won’t see anyways when you put your sheets on top and in fact you don’t even have to put sheets on.
