Grohe Nickel Spout

Create a shower that offers both design excellence and superior performance with the Grohe Grohtherm® Round Thermostatic Shower Set. Defined by soft, circular shapes, the dual-function thermostatic control makes it easy to switch from showerhead to hand shower, while Grohe Turbostat® maintains the desired temperature for the duration of the shower. The shower set includes everything needed to update the style and enhance the enjoyment of every shower experience.

Awesome value for a complete set, though disappointing that Grohe is using plastic components. If you’re expecting an all metal product, this may not be for you. Looks sleek and the rain shower head is a good size for one person. Not ideal for two people showing at the same time. This set does not enable both shower heads to be used simultaneously. Dave. The BauLoop Bathroom Faucet from Grohe is defined by its sleek, cosmopolitan profile and innovative German engineering. With its unique slanted spout, BauLoop is designed to enhance comfort by directing water flow at an outward angle for easier use and accessibility. Combining practicality and safety, the BauLoop faucet has an inner waterway that guides water through a safe, separate channel, ensuring water never comes into contact with lead or nickel. For added safety, BauLoop features Grohe CoolTouch technology to effectively prevent accidental scalding. The BauLoop Faucet Collection is an exceptional value, delivering superior design and the advanced technology that are hallmarks of every Grohe faucet.

I decided not to have this faucet installed, but I’m giving it five stars for its design and high quality. Wayfair states in the description that drain assembly is not included, but it is, see photo. Wayfair carries several Bauloop faucets. I couldn’t figure out what the difference was between them, other than the price. I ordered two different for two bathrooms. What I missed is that there is a size difference. This one is noticeably smaller than the other one (23963001), it is shorter in height and spout reach. I took a picture of it next to the one I went ahead and installed to show the difference. I’ll be swapping it out for the larger one, which I’m very happy with.. Quinarra. Chicago, IL. Ideal for retrofit or renovation, the Retro-Fit Complete Shower System installs easily and quickly. Simply replace the existing shower arm and add the system components without altering any in-wall plumbing. Once installed, it’s easy to use; a quarter-turn of the diverter lever (located at the bottom of the shower bar) switches water flow from the showerhead to the hand shower or you can have both outlets on simultaneously. Grohe StarLight is a flawless, robust, long-lasting finish designed to be extremely resistant to dirt and scratches. It features an innovative cooling channel to reduce the risk of scalding.

Very nice shower system. It can be a bit finicky to put together as the tile / wall anchors tend to not go in straight and will kick all different directions. Hands down the biggest complaint is the use of the T-10 torx bit screws / bolts used to hold the main / top fitting. The T-10 torx depths are shallow and become very easy to strip. Because of how tight the wall anchors are when inserting into the 5/16" pilot hole, it makes turning the screw / bolt difficult and easy to strip. Couple suggested improvements for Grohe would be a make the T-10 torx bit screw / bolt deeper so stripping becomes less of a potential issue. It would be nice if Grohe sold the diverter handle and cap as a replacement part as it is one of the main wear items and easy to replace. Last suggestion would be to have a longer main pipe then the 25" version. A 36" version would be perfect. My unit appears to be that long because of the 6" extension for the rain shower head. Outside of that, the rest of the system is very well made. Time will tell how it holds up but excellent as far as one of the very few retrofit shower systems out there today. Would certainly recommend to anyone considering the conversion. Thanks Wayfair. Carlos. Springfield, VA. Mon Nov 03 2025

its stunning, sleek and just what I had hoped for. My only complaint is that its not actually "Made in Germany". Of all the coordinating pieces it varies between Mexico and Thailand. The only thing truly made in Germany was the hand held shower with bar. When this arrived the back plate was noticeably scratched and dented, I contacted Wayfair righ away and per email was told that a replacement has been shipped. I have as of writing this review not received it but I am hopeful that I will be content in the end.. Asher. CO. Tue Mar 29 2016
