This grill took quite a long time to put together and the directions aren’t very clear. Definitely set aside at least a half a day if not more and you will need two people. The item came damaged and Wayfair has always been great about their customer service. Delivery was quick and the package arrived in great shape. I was a bit worried about assembly after reading some mixed reviews, but my 12-year-old kid and I put it together in just over an hour. The instructions were surprisingly clear and straightforward — zero frustration!  The 2-in-1 grill and griddle design is brilliant. Having the option to sear steaks on the grill side while doing bacon, eggs, and smashed burgers on the griddle at the same time makes hosting so easy. The cooking surface is huge! Forget about Wayfair helping with issues with this grill. They refer you to the manufacture and you have to jump through hoops to contact anyone. Assembly was straightforward, and it feels sturdy for the price. It heats up quickly, and the five burners provide plenty of cooking space and flexibility for both direct and indirect grilling. The built-in thermometer is convenient for monitoring heat, and the side shelves offer useful prep space. The cast-iron grates retain heat well and produce nice grill marks. Cleanup has also been easier than I expected after burning off residue and brushing the grates while they're still warm.
