Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. Does not show any signs of heat at the bottom so it is safe to use on countertops. I might just get a silicone mat anyway. Overall I love it and will play with it more.. Keisha. Corona, NY. The optional griddle is one accessory that is a must have. It is a direct replacement for the grate so it will fit with all Kenyon electric grills. For Texan owners, this means you can have one side for grilling, and one side with a griddle, or both sides with a griddle. This cast aluminum griddle is coated with the longest lasting non stick coating available and is the best way to prepare breakfast or anything else that requires a flat surface. To clean, simply take a wet paper towel and a set of tongs after you have finished using and wipe across to loosen any remnants, if that is not enough, after the griddle has cooled it can be placed in the dishwasher and will look like new every time.

Griddle works great but this is my third one since I’ve owned the grill for a year. Seems like they last about a year.. Brian. Westfield, IN. Mon Sep 14 2026

Perfect for kitchen remodels, luxury apartments, outdoor kitchens (with included LPG conversion), and Airbnb rentals, this commercial-grade cooktop brings restaurant performance home. The continuous cast iron grates let you slide heavy roasting pans between burners, while the auto re-ignition system keeps cooking safe when sauces bubble over. Upgrading from electric? You'll love the instant control - boil water in half the time, then simmer at precision temperatures. Designed for serious home chefs and busy families, it fits standard 30-inch cutouts and pairs perfectly with Empava wall ovens for a complete pro-style kitchen.

Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5. I'll get used to to it. Manual and the underside of induction plate recommends one hour use and two hrs of rest. Doesn't sound like a long usage time. . Robert. Niagara Falls, ON. Tue Sep 29 2020
