Delivery was quick and the package arrived in great shape. I was a bit worried about assembly after reading some mixed reviews, but my 12-year-old kid and I put it together in just over an hour. The instructions were surprisingly clear and straightforward — zero frustration!  The 2-in-1 grill and griddle design is brilliant. Having the option to sear steaks on the grill side while doing bacon, eggs, and smashed burgers on the griddle at the same time makes hosting so easy. The cooking surface is huge! We hosted a neighborhood block party last weekend with over 15 people, and we handled all the food effortlessly without making anyone wait.  The double stainless steel lids feel solid, look sharp, and help lock in heat evenly. Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen. This is a nice little cook top. I call it that because I didn’t notice that it isn’t a grill grate, but is a flat wrought iron cooktop. Nice and heavy, so it won’t warp. Angled slightly so grease drains away to a grease box below. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and contained all the pieces. There were a couple things that didn’t line up. The axel for the wheels was made backwards so the metal loop prevented it from standing properly. I flipped it over, but then only 2 of the 4 screws lined up. There were a couple other misalignments, but still stands sturdily. My camper has 2 - 20lb propane tanks, so I can use the spare one on this. (IE it doesn’t need anything extra) The burners lit right away. Overall, it’s a nice little cooktop to bring camping with me. Great value for the price.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 09 2026

The optional griddle is one accessory that is a must have. It is a direct replacement for the grate so it will fit with all Kenyon electric grills. For Texan owners, this means you can have one side for grilling, and one side with a griddle, or both sides with a griddle. This cast aluminum griddle is coated with the longest lasting non stick coating available and is the best way to prepare breakfast or anything else that requires a flat surface. To clean, simply take a wet paper towel and a set of tongs after you have finished using and wipe across to loosen any remnants, if that is not enough, after the griddle has cooled it can be placed in the dishwasher and will look like new every time.

The griddle is a nice add on but since it's small like the grill it's hard to cook a lot of stuff on it like pancakes. I have to make a batch and put in the oven for warming. I will say the pancakes came out excellent but probably the same as a cheap electric griddle. I'd recommend getting the griddle but it's quite expensive for what it is.
