The material is very soft yet sturdy enough to give a beautiful finished appearance to the bed. No pulls or wrinkles. It very easily ties to the duvet insert which also makes it easy to remove. I've thrown it into the washer and dryer ( on a low setting) and no shrinkage or change in texture.
