The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. Beautiful couch, but near impossible to slide the pieces together and I don’t usually have trouble! Got some muscle and finesse to help me, and we finally got! Nice sofa. It was relatively easy to put together. I think I got a returned sofa because some of the steps of the directions were already done. Or maybe the directions were old. What an absolute beautiful sofa! Perfect size for a room. For small space or add to a larger space. Such a vibrant color of forest green in durable corduroy fabric. I was very surprised by the comfort of this couch. I love that the cushion fabric can be removed by easy zippers for washing. Very easy to put together.
