Though, the color is more like a flat/plain gray with no depth or texture, and from the pictures online I was expecting a more brownish gray with a fine texture or maybe some fine speckling like granite, so I took off 1 star. I like the desk however the package was large & extremely heavy. I couldn’t understand why the delivery people had only 1 guy deliver it. When I saw that I knew there’s was a chance of it being damaged. Once I started to assemble the desk, I noticed the first crack upon opening the box. I didn’t notice the other crack in the tabletop board until 75% completely assembled. I called wayfair to report the damages & they were considerate & offered to send out replacement parts instead of me having to disassemble the entire desk, which I appreciated. Waiting on parts now.
