They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. These are actually better than I was expecting. I am happy with the thickness of the tiles and they are easy to use. Just peel and stick. These are going in a small shed we have that is used as a playhouse for our daughter and for the price I am happy they are going to be more than a plywood floor. Honestly the best flooring I’ve used yet. Very easy to cut and work with. I chose to use my saw, no issues with splitting or cutting. It all snapped in together nicely.
