I personally love this couch. I’m 4’11” and I can sit on the middle section without the ottoman and I can put my feet on the ground, which is nice because dangling feet puts strain on my lower back. But my husband is over six feet tall, and this is a little small for him. But it is soft, the material is comfortable, and it shipped quickly. Many years on, this is still a great sofa. I have cats, and the fabric may honestly be about the best-case scenario for a cat household. As you can see in my admittedly dirty sofa photo, claws do occasionally pull up little loops, but they can easily be trimmed or pulled out with very little effect on the overall appearance of the fabric. The modular parts have held up extremely well too. We have reconfigured the sofa plenty of times over the years, and all of the hinges and connectors are still solid. The connectors are substantial metal pieces, not little plastic clips, and nothing has loosened up or broken with repeated use. The storage under the seats is still one of my favorite features. There is a surprising amount of room in there, and having storage built into basically every section makes the whole modular design much more useful. After years of regular use, pets, moving pieces around, opening and closing the storage, and generally not babying it, it has held up remarkably well. I would absolutely buy it again.. Skipp. US. My packages came into separate shipments. Both drivers were very professional and efficient and timely. The process itself was a bit frustrating as the original shipment was delayed by four days, and the second package. They didn’t even know where it was. Color of ottoman is the color that I saw online but the description stated BLUE, so I stepped out on a limb and ordered it, hoping it would be blue. It looks green or teal to me. I like the ottomans enough that I am keeping them and have ordered fabric to sew a top to match my existing chairs. The only negative is that the LEGS ARE PLASTIC and with a plastic molded tip. Can't remove the tip like I usually do with furniture legs, so I ordered wood legs online, and they fit perfectly. Just buy this. It’s heaven on earth. Got this so that all four of my dogs could sit on the same couch. Before, i had a reclining leather couch that my husky/GSD mix and two pugs sat with me on and my huge GSD had his own matching leather recliner, but I felt bad that he had to be separate. The Brinsley ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The taupe color is absolutely beautiful in person. It’s the perfect warm neutral and works beautifully with the rest of our room. The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and the couch feels substantial without looking bulky. Having a home with pets, I needed something that could be comfortable and livable while still looking beautiful. This checks all of those boxes. It completely changed the look and feel of our living room and made the whole space feel warmer and more inviting. The sofa and the lounge section came in separate boxes on different days. There is NO assembly required! They were separately rolled up (see picture). As soon as you start cutting the plastic wrap off, it starts expanding and within minutes, you have the whole thing - ready to sit on!
