Grey Chunky Knit Wool Area Rug

This flatweave area rug elevates your living room with a motif inspired by classic Persian textile arts and lodge-inspired style. It's handmade in India from 65% wool, and 35% polyester – a material that's naturally durable, hypoallergenic, and stain-resistant. The design features a high-low pile height with rows of cream geometric patterns that stand out against the gray background. This makes it a great choice for creating a cozy environment in lower-traffic rooms. We recommend rolling out a rug pad underneath to keep it securely in place.

Beautiful rug but definitely needs a pad. Anonymous. Sun Nov 01 2026

This area rug brings a clean, understated look to your space while offering everyday functionality. Hand-tufted from a blend of wool and nylon, it creates a soft surface that adds subtle texture and warmth underfoot. The low-profile pile makes it a versatile choice for high-traffic areas, while a cotton, latex and canvas backing helps hold its shape over time. Its neutral design easily anchors existing decor without overwhelming the rest of your home. Plus, it works seamlessly across a variety of layouts to refresh your floors. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Nice rug, medium pile. The color is mostly ivory with a grey undertone so it is very versatile. Some shedding as expected.. Nina P. Winterville, NC. Sat Jun 06 2026

Bring easy, textured comfort to your floor with this handwoven area rug. A casual basket weave design meets the simplicity of a solid ivory ground with charcoal gray tones, giving the rug a light, airy look that works with a wide range of modern interiors. It is handwoven from handspun wool and finished with a 100% cotton backing. Pair it with a rubber-backed, non-slip rug pad to prevent bunching and slipping.

Absolutely gorgeous! It has a lot of texture & great colors.. Eileen. Minneapolis, MN. Mon Oct 03 2022

This hand-tufted area rug brings traditional aesthetic appeal and classic warmth to your space. Woven from wool, its soft texture showcases organic hues with natural tonal variation for a relaxed look underfoot. The pile provides plush comfort underfoot, while the flat-weave construction still offers easy vacuuming so it's a great choice for high-traffic areas. It pairs easily with existing decor to ground your layout. Plus, the soft surface adds subtle texture and depth across a variety of floor types.

I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. I will not be surprised if Wayfair starts eliminating reviews now. I rely heavily on reviews so I hope this helped you.. Kat. SE. Wed Jun 03 2026

This area rug brings a classic striped motif to your home, offering a simple way to refresh your floors. It's hand-woven from a wool and viscose blend, creating a natural look and feel that complements both modern and coastal spaces. The low-profile flatweave design creates a sleek look across your floor, making it easy to place under low-clearance doors or heavy furniture. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to help prevent slipping.

It is a beautiful rug. I bought 12x15 size. Great quality and soft on foot as well as perfect weight and cushion for me although I do have a rug pad underneath. I got the charcoal/grey/beige. I was worried it would be to dark but it was not. I would say neutral and charcoal color not overwhelming. I paid more than I wanted but the original price way more costly so I think I made a very good buy!. Rosemary. Elyria, OH. Mon Sep 14 2026
