When the heater is on, the bar at the top glows [see 2nd photo], which is good, so you know the heat is on. Plus, there is a timer accessed by the remote for up to several hours. I actually cant think of anything else you could ask for. I was worried that the case would be shiny, and it is, but that is not a negative. It will make it easy to dust. This has a nice, slim clearance, works great, and heats a room quickly. My only 2 complaints are that the highest brightness setting on the orange/real flame is not very bright. 2nd, there is a warning sticker front and center above the flame that I assume would peel off, but when I started to remove it, it was silver beneath indicating it wasn't meant to be removed. This TV stand is beautiful once assembled. Our TV is 80 inches, so you can see how it looks under a larger TV. There are many pieces, so I recommend hiring someone to assemble it. A professional built ours in about 45 minutes, which saved a lot of time and frustration. The wood quality feels a bit cheap for the price and looks somewhat flimsy when first taken out of the box. However, once assembled it looks great and fits nicely in the space. Overall, I’m happy with how it looks. It’s a stylish piece, just not the highest quality material for the price.. Anonymous.
