I bought this quilt set for my master bedroom because I wanted something simple, functional, and beautiful. I really like how lightweight it is, and the fact that it’s reversible gives me a couple of different options without having to buy another set. It did have a pretty strong plastic or manufacturing smell when I first opened it, but thankfully that disappeared completely after one wash. My only real disappointment is that the colors aren’t quite as vibrant in person as they look in the photos. I prefer 100 per cent cotton. This is 60 per cent cotton batting 40 per cent polyester fiber. Overall it is large enough to cover my large queen size bed with deep mattresses, having enough overhang to cover any bedding underneath. It's also masculine and whimsical enough to satisfy my taste as a man who really digs quilts. Having purchased it during black Friday, I think it is a good value.
