They are stable and you do not have to worry about them holding up overtime as I feel they are very good quality. And I love all the options they offer for colors. Beautiful chairs! They look pretty close to the photos. The only real difference is that in person, the metal appears to be a more dark brass-like color (as opposed to being a basic gold, like it appears in the photos.) However, my biggest complaint is that they came with NOTHING labeled and no actual instructions. Only 1 paper with pictures of all the screws was included. But considering that the screws came all together in 1 (unlabeled) bag- it was very difficult deciphering which screw was which. So, putting the first chair together was quite the task and took at least few hours. Having to guess which screw matched up with what piece of the chair was frustrating. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to complete the 1st chair… following that, the other 2 chairs were pretty easy to assemble, since I had deciphered the puzzle while building the 1st one! These bar stools are beautiful! I paid a little more than I wanted to considering the seats are faux leather. We wanted 2 new stools to put in our wet bar. They came together in 1 box (both stools) in 2 parts each and were packed well and the bottom metal legs were wrapped really well!! My husband secured the seats to the bottom with no problems. I really like the “tufting” of the faux leather. I wish the back of seat was maybe an inch or 2 higher, but these chairs had the look I wanted. They are comfortable to sit on. And very beautiful.
