This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. It’s a very comfy and spacious couch. I think it’s versatile as it can complete a small or a large space as needed. This olive green looks really lovely in the sunlight! I’m 5 ft tall, so the low height of the couch doesn’t feel like an issue. Looks great! A bit of a pain to assemble but I'm happy with the result. The storage space underneath the cushion is only covered by some thin wood slats knit together so I wouldn't trust falling down onto that cushion. Comfort-wise it's a little stiff, some nice, soft pillows would definitely help. Its not the couch you daydream about crashing into after a long day at work, but rather one that ties a room together and is completely serviceable for sitting and chatting or watching TV.. Zack S. We’ll see if it softens a bit after breaking it in, but I would have preferred a very plushy comfy sofa. That’s the hard part with purchasing online and not being able to test it in person first..
