Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, fabric feels softer and natural, which was important to me since we have an 18 month old baby. Quality is much higher relative to price point. I was able to assemble it myself , while baby was "helping" me, instructions were pretty straightforward and it took me about an hour, no breaking sweat. Very well-made velvet sofa. The fabric is really beautiful. You will notice that the back does come in two separate pieces as well as the base of the sofa. It does sit lower to the ground, but is very comfortable. I will use it with my Staging business and it will get a lot of use. Is on the heavier side. That can be a positive if you are using it for every day use. It is long and you could easily stretch out for a nice nap. Overall, I love the sofa. The only negative would be the separate pieces that come together to form the long sofa. I realize this is probably easier for shipping. But if placed against a wall, it is not noticeable.. Susan.
