When I purchased this chair and ottoman it was on sale, a very good price for this product. After receiving the chair and ottoman, I now wish I had purchased two. The seat is deep which is good for taller users as well; however, not as great for shorter users (including myself at 5 foot 3 inches). At 5 foot, 3 inches, I find that I can either have neck support or lower back support at one time, which is okay and can be fixed with a small throw pillow in order to get support in both areas at one time; at this night I also have a hard time pushing off the floor to rock the chair, which was expected as I experience this with almost every rocking chair. I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together.
