The ridged texture across the top side is reminiscent of the lines you'll sometimes see on a glacier. Plus, the gray color with white peppered in gives the Glacier Frost Coma Inducer its frosty look. It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it.
