These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair. I needed three new counter height bar stools to replace my very old ones. I was very specific in what I needed. I searched everywhere and landed on these swivel stool in dark grey but really more like light black. Once assembled they are solid. They swivel great and are very comfortable. The back is high enough for me and I like to lean back. There are no arms on the stool, but I am not missing them as I thought I would. You definitely need 2 people to assemble these. Some of the 'holes' in the first step where the cushion meets the backrest are not aligned very well. In one of the holes, a staple was in the way, so I had to remove it. The staple was for the fabric so by removing it, it was fine. That is the reason for the 4 stars, is the lining up the holes could be better. But overall, I was happy with the price, and the instructions were very easy to follow. Again, you MUST have two people to assemble it, or these will never get put together.. Anonymous. These swivel counter stools are extremely comfortable and attractive. They are very sturdy and were easy to assemble. A great value for the money, and they look like they would cost more than they do. Please note that these stools do not automatically spring back to their original position if you get out the chair when it is swiveled. These stools look so nice that I can forego that feature..
