Because doing stuff in the dark can be hard. It's a lamp! While this usually signals a tedious setup process, I was pleasantly surprised that the entire lamp took only about 10 minutes to put together. Note on the description: The product details humorously state that a "bullet" is not included—which is clearly a typo for a lightbulb! Color Accuracy & Material Discrepancy Before purchasing, I noticed a contradiction on the product page: the main text describes a "walnut-colored solid wood lamp body," but digging into the technical specifications reveals the base color is actually listed as "red." Having received it, the specs are definitely more accurate than the description. It reads much more like a reddish cherry or mahogany finish rather than a deep, chocolate-brown walnut. The lamp is great, really shines with a lower K bulb temp. The base is heavy and stable as well, finish looks great. The glass sphere looks great after a cleaning. I absolutely love this lamp! The quality meets my expectations. The wood finish feels substantial, the shade is well made, and it looks much more expensive than it is. The soft, diffused light creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for a living room or reading corner. My only reason for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the assembly instructions. While the lamp itself was straightforward to put together, the directions never explained how to assemble the pleated lampshade. I had to figure that part out on my own, which was confusing and took longer than it should have. If the manufacturer added a few simple steps or diagrams for the shade assembly, the experience would be perfect.
